Abstract
Aiming at the problem of low-frequency noise in power transformers, the design methodology for the active noise control(ANC) of sound disturbances in power equipments is studied. The active sound cancellation algorithm uses the framework of output-error based optimization of a linearly parameterized filter for feedforward sound compensation to select sensor location and demonstrate the effectiveness of active noise cancellation. The ANC controller can automatically measure the sound disturbances and automatically change the compensating elements to realize the noise cancellation.Taking the 220 kV power transformer noise control for example, the experimental results prove that the ANC technology to control the noise in power equipments is an effective way.
