Abstract

Objective: To analyze the development trend of private hospitals in China,explore the influence on public hospitals,and provide recommendations for balanced development of private hospitals and public hospitals.Methods: Analyzing the number,scale,and service capability of private hospitals based on 2005 to 2011 official statistics.Results: With rapid development of service capacity year by year,private hospitals have became an important part of the medical service system.Conclusion: We should strengthen the system construction and docking,and promote the positive development of private hospitals and public hospitals.
