An Analysis of Spatial Distribution of Manufacturing Industry in China

Abstract

The study measures the Space Distributing and Dynamic Variation Track of Manufacturing Industrial Gravity Centre of China from 1980 to 2008.the main finding are:(1)The space distributing of manufacturing industries moved to the southern and the eastern from 1980 to2008,but,the some manufacturing industries are moving to the northern and the western after 2003.(2)Now,the most manufacturing industries distribute in the southern and the eastern.(3)The labor intensive manufacturing industries distribute in the southern and the eastern,and the Resources intensive manufacturing industries distribute in the and the northern and the western.At last,we analysis the cause and give the Policy recommendations.
