Abstract

The combustibility of the injection pulverized coal is one of the most important parameters in production. It is very necessary to learn about the real-time variation of coal's combustibility for the safety and stability of pulverized coal injection.Because of the high cost, too much time and the complex operation,it is not suitable to measure it directly in production.By comparison, the proximate analysis and ignition temperature can be measured easily.15 types of coal in an iron plant were studied in the laboratory to get their proximate analysis and ignition temperature. The correlation coefficient which is a statistic conception was used to analyze the experiment data.It showed that there was a highly linear relationship between the combustibility of pulverized coal and the volatile and ignition temperature. It will be a theoretical basis to analyze the coal combustibility indirectly by the two parameters.
