Abstract
The two interfering comonents were de-termined simultaneously by least square-spe-ctrophotometric method.The absorbances ofthe diluted spirit were determined at fifteenproper wavelength and cal.culated by theleastsguare method to give the contents of thecomponents in the spirit the mean recoveryof benzoic acid was 100.29±0.43%(n=13)andthat of salicylic acid was 100.39±0.43%(n=13).
