Abstract
Spectrum sensing is one of key technologies in cognitive radio where energy detection is commonly used.For the purpose of obtaining maximum possible throughput in minimal possible sensing time,the relationship between system throughput and sensing time is studied in this paper for the case of cooperative spectrum sensing.It turns out that more system throughput and less sensing time are achieved in cooperative spectrum sensing.Sensing time and system throughput are influenced mainly by the number of the cooperative users and the frame duration.
