The clinical analysts of acute severe viral myocarditis:18 cases report

Abstract

Objective To summarize the diagnosis and treatment of acute severe viral myocarditis.Methods The clinical data for 18 cases patients with acute severe viral myocarditis were retrospectively analyzed.Results Acute left heart failure(6 cases),Ⅲdegree atrioventricular block(AVB)(6 cases),cardiogenic shock(6 cases),death(3 cases),A-Adams syndrome(4 cases ).Finally 12 cases patients were cured,3 cases improved and 3 cases of death.Conclusion The condition of severe acute viral myocarditis is dangerous,a high fatality rate,so must be diagnosed timely and take effectively treatments.IABP therapy can improve prognosis of cardiogenic shock patients.
