Abstract
The pyrite is one of the most closely related to the mineral with respect to gold mineralization. And it as a standard type of minerals is a important symbol of the gold deposit. The pyrite crystal morphology, chemical composition of standard features and pyroelectricity have important implication on evaluation of gold deposits in the deep vision, GENESIS, etc. The study shows that the standard type of crystal form, thermoelectric characteristics and trace elements variation of pyrite can identify the zoning characteristics of gold ore bodies, and provide the guidance information for future prospecting. The value of Au/Ag, Co/ Ni and S/Se in pyrite can be used to determine the genetic types of gold deposits.
