Abstract
An essential oil is extracted from Myrrha by using steam distillation and the chemical constituents are separated and identified by GC-MS.The components are quantitatively determined by normalization method, the amount of the identified components are account for more than 67.95 %of all the essential oil.The yield of essential oils from Myrrha is 2.2%.The experimental results confirmed the presence of 41 are identified from Myrrha.
