Abstract

This paper summarized the physical and chemical properties and the physiological effect of picloram, the application of picloram in culture of plant tissue, and the influences of different picloram concentrations on callus induction, embryogenic maintaining and proliferation. Then,it indicated that there was a huge gap in suitable concentration of picloram between different plants or different explants. In the end,it proposed that applying picloram in tissue culture of woody plant should be researched further.
