Study on the Mesh Characteristic of a Cycloidal Gear Pump

Abstract

In order to lengthen the service life of gear pump,and to avoid trapping oil,and to make driving more smoothly,a curve of the profile of a cycloidal gear pump was pointed out,the mesh characterists of this cycloidal gear pump was compared with those of involute gear pump,the result showed that the cycloidal gear pump has big emission,few number of teeth,small volume,low flow pulsation,low noise,and long service life,and this cycloidal gear pump can resolve the problem of trapping oil.
