Abstract

In this paper,the research progress and utilization of the dominant genic male sterility were summarized,including the fertility restorility mechanism,mapping of sterile gene,cytological character,change of physiological and chemical in abortion process,utilization in routine breeding and heterosis.Finally the utilization of pingxiang dominant genic male sterile rice was prospected.
