Practical Aesthetics and Ecological Aesthetics

Based on Marxist viewpoint of practice, practical aesthetics is the science that studies, with art as the centre, the aesthetic relation of man to reality. Viewing it from the 3 dimensions(man to nature, man to society i.e. others, and man to self) of man to reality, practical aesthetics should certainly take ecological aesthetics as one important dimension of its researcth, studying the aesthetic relation of man to his living environment that is part of the nature. In the conception of the creator of Marxism, both ecological question and ecological aesthetics are the important and indispensable aspect or dimension of practical materialism. The ultimate aim of practical aesthetics-free and allround developed individual-contains the object, method and aim of ecological aesthetics.
