Abstract
A complex series of steps must take place in tumor invasion and metastasis.According to recent studies,MMP and TIMP play an important role in the invasion and metastasis of lung cancer.MMP and TIMP expression levels in lung cancer tissue are closely correlated with pathological type,TNM stage,lymph nod metastasis and prognosis of lung cancer.Inhibiting the enzyme activity of MMP might be a novel therapeutic target of lung cancer.
