Abstract

Shale gas reservoir simulation technology is a new research project in the shale gas exploration and development, there is no experienced knowledge to be referred to from home and abroad. Studied the newest foreign progress on the shale gas reservoir simulation, wish that this work will be helpful to China’s relevant research. It is the key to simulate this kind of gas reservoir that the shale gas seepage characteristic and the complex fracture cracks network system composed of natural cracks are precisely characterized. The Natural fracture permeability, matrix-crack coupling factor and hydraulic fracturing fracture parameters are the most sensitive to the shale gas reservoir deliverability simulation, which could be taken as the adjustable parameters in history matching. The shale gas numerical reservoir simulation can provide the beneficial reference for predicting the shale gas well production performance, residual reserves distribution and shale gas reservoir infill drilling, hydraulic fracturing and secondary fracturing operation.
