Three Problems about Modern Transformation of Aesthetics

Two views of contemporary aesthetics from current academia reflect the divergence about how to select the direction of aesthetics′modern transformation.The divergence includes three problems: Whether aesthetics needs to establish research topic? Whether aesthetics needs to becomes a modern subject and whether aesthetics needs to construct theory system? This paper analyses the gains and losses of these two kinds of opinions on three issues and thinks the criticizing about traditional aesthetics should inherit one of the finest ingredients.The author thinks that it′s the aesthetics′ research topic to explore the mechanism and laws of aesthetic phenomenon,it′s the research target to build the aesthetic subject.And aesthetic theory system should be constructed from two aspects of basic aesthetics and department aesthetics in order to complete the idea about modern transformation of aesthetics.
