The policy and strategy adopted by the CPC in the work towards the rural secret society during the Agrarian Revolutionary War

During the Democratic Revolution of China,the rural social clans posed a serious problem with their impact upon revolution and policy making.With the increasing migrant population resulting from the failure of the First Revolutionary Civil War,the social clans in the whole society got expanded so that they controlled a lot of laboring people and possessed considerable weaponry.Although they were not what composed the rudimentary forces of revolution,they could hardly be ignored.Therefore in order to expand the united front,isolate and disintegrate the enemy to the utmost possibility,the CPC,as an indispensable part of its endeavor to construct the rural revolutionary bases during the Agrarian Revolutionary War,adopted flexible policies and tactics in dealing with the social clans in the countryside,turning this broad force to the advantage of revolution and effecting the transformation of it.These measures helped to create favorable conditions for the development of the Red Army and revolutionary bases,and presented ample experience for the CPC to treat the social clans in the following days.
