Abstract
Objective To establish a method for the determination of ephedrine in compound furacilin and ephedrine nasal by ultraviolet spectrophotometry. Methods The ephedrine hydrochoride was oxidated by an oxidative agent, sodium hypochlorite. The production, benzalhyde, was detected by the light of 249nm.Results When the concentration of ephedrine hydrochloride was between 2~18μg/ml,the linear relation was good(r=0.9996),average recovery rate was 98.05%(n=9,RSD=0.72%).Conclusion This method is sensitive and accurate for detecting the concentration of ephedrine hydrochloride.
