Abstract

Objective To observe the effects of type 2 diabetic patients with chronic periodontitis patients with changes of dry tooth week prognosis of oral health status. Methods Type II diabetic patients with periodontitis were divided into the treatment for 120 cases of control periodontal experimental group and non periodontal treatment group. The baseline examination were performed periodontal index(including: Gingival Index GI, Plaque Index PLI, Sulcular Bleeding Index SBI,Attachment Loss AL),oral health education and guidance of correct tooth brushing method. The experimental group give periodontal treatment intervention.Changes of periodontal index in two groups were recorded after 6 months. Results There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups at baseline examination periodontal index(P 0.05). ② Intervention after periodontal index change in the two groups had significant difference(P0.05) In addition to SBI.③After the intervention group and two in the diabetes and periodontal disease awareness, regular oral examination, regular exercise habits, daily brushing frequency difference has statistics difference(P0.05). Conclusion The oral health status of periodontal intervention measures can significantly improve the type II diabetic patients with chronic periodontitis, can also improve the oral health consciousness and ability.
