Abstract

How to improve the competition ability of the manufacturing enterprise using information technology is a hot research topic. On the basis of studying of the behavior of the future manufacturing enterprise, the comprehensive development framework and the total solution for the manufacturing enterprise in the information age are put forward. The main contents for enterprise information system total solution are studied. Research result shows that Contemporary Integrated Manufacturing Systems(CIMS) provide the paradigm, implementation method, and enabling technology for the planning of enterprise total solution.
