Abstract
An overview of the research progress was conducted on the inheritance,the gene mapping and cloning and the molecular mechanism of the photoperiod-thermo-sensitive genic male sterility(PTGMS) based on various sources of PTGMS lines in rice.In the meanwhile,the existing problems in the research were also discussed briefly in the paper.
