Abstract
Modeling of NC machine tools is the foundation of processing simulation and the universal modeling method is the one of the requests assuring high efficiency of simulation. The article introduces some functional modules of VERICUT simply,analyses the modeling process of different kinds of NC machine tools,summarizes the common characteristic of modeling methods, and puts forwards the method of modeling of different types of machine tools on the basis of the modeling technology of VERICUT,At last, the article introduces the modeling process of 5-Axis Machining Center on VERICUT as an example. The process has great commonness which can be the reference of other machine tools modeling.
