Abstract
With the development of globalization,in order to carry out better research in China,we need to discover and build China's own characteristics and values with the comparison between the West and China. From the dual perspective and with comparative study of Chinese and western architectural aesthetics,we find that there is the phenomenon of antinomy in the development of western architectural aesthetics, and on the contrary the phenomenon of dual harmony in Chinese traditional architectural aesthetics. We hope that such a comparison can do something in the construction of architectural aesthetic theory with Chinese characteristics in the future.
