Abstract

In order to improve the construction depth of the gas drainage boreholes and the gas drainage effect in the underground mine,a ZYWL-6000D directional drilling equipment was researched and developed suitable for application to the most coal mines in China.The paper introduced the technical principle and provided the major technical parameters.Directional drilling trails were conducted in Sihe Mine.During the trial period,there were ten main boreholes drilling completed.Among them,there were four boreholes with depth over 1 000 m.The max depth of the borehole was 1 017 m.There were 56 branching boreholes completed with side drilling.The max depth of the branching borehole was 240 m.The total drilling depth of the boreholes was over 11 000 m.The performances of the completed ZYWL-6000D directional drilling equipment was effectively verified and checked.
