Abstract
Handoff latency is a key problem that holds back the application of mobile IP.This paper proposes a handoff protocol based on dual-link.This protocol makes use of redundant link based on the scheme of pre-triggering to realize seamless handoff of mobile node. This paper also analyzes the improvement of this protocol on the handoff performance and conducts experiments of communication performance during the handoff process with respect to the proposed protocol.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
