Abstract
The progress and applications of molecular in vegetable breeding and germplasm resources were discussed, which includes DNA marker systems used in vegetable breeding and germplasm, genetic maps constructed by molecular markers, application of molecular markers in vegetable germplasm, and application of molecular markers to vegetable breeding. The present problems and perspectives of application of molecular markers in vegetable were reviewed.
