Abstract
As unique and living natural element in landscape environment,landscape plant takes more diverse and more important function,such as aesthetic,ecological,and economic function.Scientific and rational landscape plant design not only meets the aesthetic demand of people,but also reflects the scientific need.Based on the characteristics and limitations of landscape plant design of classical landscape and current landscape,the paper expounds the tendency of the modern landscape plant design from green volume indicators,ecological landscape,geographical features,place spirit,space development,and to meet the demand of people that modern landscape plant design has the scientific and aesthetic features.
