Abstract
Objective A case-control study was performed to investigate the relationship between gallbladder cancer(GCA) and gallbladder stones(GS).Methods The 41 patients of combined gallbladder gallstone(Test group) and 41 patients of gallbladder stones without gallbladder(Control group),that received treatment in my hospital from January 2000 to December 2010,were retrospectively analysis. Results General character analysis showed patients of test group had higher average age(P0.05).As to Clinical symptoms, cases of test group were significantly associated with the history of chronic cholecystitis time, skin stained yellow sclera, and a longer gallstones history(all the p value were smaller than 0.05).there were no significant difference in intermittent upper abdominal pain and significant weight loss between the two groups. Conclusion Gallstones is one of the most important pathologic conditions of gallbladder carcinoma. The early diagnosis of gallbladder carcinoma is difficult and the therapeutic efficacy is still not satisfactory.Gallstone cancer patients with risk factors should be paid more attention and take active preventive cholecystectomy.
