Abstract

The elastic-plastic stability of Yajisha Concrete-Filled Steel Tube Arch Bridge is investigated by utilizing a nonlinear program during construction. The effects, such as the variations of the structural system, cross section characteristic of arch ribs and the progressive increment of applied loads are taken into account during erection. The two proposed sequences of pouring concrete in the arch ribs are analyzed, and the influence of concrete-pouring process on the stability safety factors of the Yajisha arch bridge are evaluated. The numerical results are used to guide the concrete-pouring construction of Yajisha Arch Bridge.
