Abstract

Sports,as a social culture phenomenon,is restricted by society,politics,and economy.The pa- per expounds the main functions of sports in the modern society which affect all aspects of people's life from viewpoint of the sociology,the nature,distinguishing features,and the hot demand for sports of the modern society are analyzed.The main functions of sports in modern society are explored.
