Abstract
The author introduced the content of coalbed methane in different coal metamorphic process under experimental condition,and observed the pores of coal using microscope and measured methane adsorption quantity in different coal rank.The results show the permeability is better in middle-high rank coal,which adsorbed high level of quantities to coalbed methane,and it is the first selection to explore the coalbed methane;the permeability is not high enough in high rank coal,whereas the content of coalbed methane is relatively high,and it is considered as object to explore;the content of coalbed methane is minimum in low rank coal,and preservation of coalbed methane is also difficult.Usually,if resource abundance meets with some conditions,it can be explored.
