Abstract

Solid phase microextration is a novel sample preparation technique.Molecularly imprinted technique is a technique to prepare molecular recognition materials. The combination of molecularly imprinted technique and solid phase microextration has found potential applications.Using molecularly imprinted polymers as the material of solid phase microextraction fiber coating,we can not only have high efficient extraction of solid phase microextraction but also the unique ability of molecular recognition of molecularly imprinted polymers. The recent progress of molecularly imprinted technique coupled with solid phase microextration was reviewed.
