Abstract
Combining the universal index of industrial agglomeration and concentration,we in this paper calculate and significantly test the agglomeration extent of FDI industries in 38 industries and 31 regions of China. We find that FDI enterprises have high agglomeration in 30 regions and 38 industries, but the intensity has the tendency of declining.Further study shows that FDI enterprises participate deeply in high-end manufactures, but have being controlled.Furthermore, the East depend more on FDI enterprises, who participate much less in the Middle-West.Therefore,China should further adjusting both industrial and regional distribution, and promote the harmonizing development between the East and the Middle-West.
