Abstract

The quadratic regression orthogonal design was used the maize pot test to establish the mathematical models between irrigation quantity and plant height,dry weights of stem,roots and plant under different soil moisture for getting the optimum soil moisture and irrigation quantity under the maximum parameters of plant height and dry weights of plant,stem and root.The results show that the highest plant height,plant dry weight,root dry weight and stem dry weight can be obtained under 13.3% soil moisture and 76.6 mm irrigation quantity,11.8% soil moisture and 76.3 mm irrigation quantity,10.3% soil moisture and 70.2 mm irrigation quantity and 13.7% soil moisture and 138.3 mm irrigation quantity respectively.
