Abstract

Objective:To study the relationship between mutation of the13inverted sequence in the mtrR promoter region of neisseria gonˉorrhoeae and its resistance of tritonX-100.Methods:The MIC of tritonX-100was determined and13inverted sequence was amplified by polymerase chain reaction(PCR).Five strains were choosen at random to sequenced. Results:All five strains produced single-base deleˉtion. Conclusion:The single-base deletion of the13inverted sequence in the mtrR promoter region of neisseria gonorrhoeae may trigger the reˉsistance enhancing of neisseria gonorrhoeae against tritonX-100.
