Progress in toughening thermosetting resins

Abstract
The research progress in toughening thermosetting resins by using rigid particles,rubber elastomers,thermoplastic resins,forming semi interpenetrating polymer networks and liquid crystal polymers at home and abroad for recent years were reviewed.The influence factors of using rubber elastomers and thermoplastic resins toughening thermosetting resins were analyzed emphatically.The present problems and trends of toughening modification of thermosetting resins were indicated.
