Abstract

There exists a long history of the idea of harmoniousness in Chinese culture . The artistic idea of the harmony of music has been established in this long hi story, which involves profound cultural connotations. Today the idea of harmonio usness will awaken and enhance the awareness of people about the harmony of natu re and human activities, thus promoting the human society to advance along the r oad of sustained development. And this fully illustrates the aesthetic significa nce and practical value of the theory of harmony of music.
