Abstract
The seed germination and seedling growth of Sophora flavescens were studied under different concentrations of NaCl stress in this paper. The results showed that compared to the control treatment, both the germination potential and germination percentage of Sophora flavescens seeds was higher under low NaCl concentrations(5 g/L),while lower under high NaCl concentrations(7 g/L).With the increasing of NaCl concentrations, both seed germination index and vigor index of seedling were decreased gradually, meanwhile, the radicle length, hypocotyls length and seedling weight were all lower than control.NaCl solution at high concentration levels(7 g/L)obviously inhibited the seed germination of Sophora flavescens.
