Abstract
Selective Laser Sintering is a new rapid prototyping technology invented in the 1980s.SLS uses fine powder heated with CO2 laser to fabricate modules,has the merits of broad raw materials, simply process of making,short production periods and so on,and has applied widely in many fields.The principle,characteristics and applications of Selective Laser Sintering(SLS)are introduced.The development,the key problems and the hotspot of research of SLS are reviewed.
