Abstract
In acid medium with polyvinyl alcohol in existence,cadmium(Ⅱ) can form water-soluble ternary ionic association with potassium iodide and Rhodamine B respectively.According to this the paper proposes the high sensitivity spectrophotometry to determine cadmium.The maximum absorption wavelength locates in 610nm.Correlation coefficient γ=0.9990.The content of the metal cadmium in the high polymer material(PP,PS,ABS) is determined with this method.
