Abstract

The owner of the bronze appliance Cheng Cui whose manufacturing age is around the middle West Zhou Dynasty is Cheng(爯) .There are 49 characters on its inscription newly published. Though the main contents of the inscription is Cheng's wishes, it concerned some valuable problems such as the ideological culture, family form, language, script and so on.
