Abstract

Now The NATs caused the SIP end -to -end application to become extremely difficult. The paper discussed the SIP and NAT,analyzed several kinds of method of NAT traversal for SIP and their pitfalls, proposed a solution for NAT traversal based on STUN and tunnel. It use STUN project to penetrate for non-symmetric NAT and tunnel project to penetrate for symmetric NAT. The project can avoid limitations because of the use of a single project.
