Abstract
This paper designs a new access point to satisfy the need of wireless communication in the subway environment.Based on the conventional mobile IP theory,some modification is made to separate out most functions of mobile agent from wireless access point so that rapid and accurate transfer between MN(mobile node) and wireless access point,the roaming function of MN in different LANs,and good communication between LAN and WLAN are realized.The testing result is described and weaknesses are analyzed.
