Abstract
Based on the surge experiment of JP60 centrifugal compressor at the speed of 120 000 r/min,the unsteady flow during the course of surge occurrence and development was analyzed through combining the non-steady state simulation results near the surge conditions at the same speed.The flow variation of different compressor parts during the surge occurrence and development was classified,which lay the foundation for the further understanding of surge phenomenon.
