Abstract

Mastication is one basic physiological function of the stomatognathic system,and keeping the healthyf unction on the preferred chewing side(PCS)is one of the necessary condition for exerting masticatory function.Thisa rticle reviews the occurrence and influencing factors of PCS,examination method as well as evaluation index of PCS,etc.
