Abstract
Based on the model of constructed wetland, the treatment experiments on effluent of chemical sewage plant were done.High removal rates of contaminations were obtained. Some characteristic contaminations decreased to the discharge standard. The influence and regularity of hydraulic retention time on constructed wetland's COD,BOD,NH4+-N,TP,Cu,Volatile Phenol and AOCl removal effect are analyzed in detail. And purification mechanism is explored. The results show it is an accessible way to treat chemical sewage effluent by constructed wetland. It is shown that the optimal running conditions with hydraulic residence time of 4 d,with COD loading rate of 42.8 kg·(10-4m-2d-1)was determined.Meanwhile, the optimal parameters of different operation condition are proposed so as to provide references for further development, design and operation of constructed wetland.
