Abstract
This article has compared our nation with the United States,Europe, and Taiwan on seismic design code of site effects on design response spectrum,it is found that the United States,Europe and Taiwan seismic design codes use two site coefficients to evaluate different sites impact on design response spectrum in the short and long period, but 01 seismic code only considers sites impact on design response spectrum with characteristic period in the long period, not in the short period. The article also points out some contents of 01 seismic code design response spectrum which need further study and to be improved.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
