Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of percutaneous nephrolithotomy with ultrasonic and pneumatic lithotripsy in the treatment of kidney stones. Methods The observation group and the control group was 49 cases, the patients with kidney stone were selected from January 2013 to November 2013 in our hospital. The control group used a minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy pneumatic ballistic lithotripsy treatment, observation group used percutaneous nephrolithotomy(PCNL) with ultrasonic and pneumatic lithotripsy treatment. The operative time, blood loss volume, stone clearance rate during the I phase, complication rate, SF-36 scores of two groups were compared. Results The operative time of observation group was shorter than the control group, blood loss was less than the control group, stone clearance rate during the I phase was higher, the overall incidence of complications was lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05). After the surgery, the physical, mental health, social activities, bodily pain, physical function, role physical, energy and physical health score in the observation group were higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05). Conclusion Percutaneous nephrolithotomy with ultrasonic and pneumatic lithotripsy in the treatment of kidney stones not only can reduce blood loss, operation time, and can improve stone clearance rate and quality of life.
