Crisis of Wetlands in the Yellow River Delta and its Protection

There is a huge wetland area and complicated wetland species in the Yellow River Delta. The wetland is one of the most plenty biodiversity zone of the world and has enormous biological resources. Excessive exploitation, drying-up of the Yellow River, wetland pollution, arising of the sea level and the erosion of seashore are the main problems in the wetland. In order to combat these problems and protect this important wetland, strengthening the management of the Yellow River volley basin and saving-water works in this region, doing better program and dynamic monitoring, keeping harmony between the exploitation and recovery of the wetland, paying attention to the wetland pollution and the construction of the nature preserve and enlarging the international exchange are of essence and management countermeasures put forward in the end of this paper.
