Application Study of Multicast Strategy

Multicast technology is a group communication model of point-to-point or multipoint-to-multipoint data transmission,which is also an important supporting technology to adapt to the development of the future network.Although the application of multicast technology significantly improves the utilization ration of the network,the multicast networks exist the congestion problems in itself and multicast protocols exist the inherent problems in its scalability and fairness are seriously obstruct the wider application of the multicast technology.In this paper,introduce the multicast technology,then focus on the comparison of the multicast congestion control technology and the application of many existing multicast routing protocol respectively,and in the last,point out the further research trend of the multicast.
